Holly molly - - Wiskey Trip on that link - - I'd be surprised if skiers can even hear the engine over the music with all those speakers.
Wow...a rig like that would have a few holes under the waterline in the morning at my quiet lake.

Some things aren't meant to be put in the rear...including speakers.

(deck boats)...who have owned them were seeming glad to be rid of them ...
In the years I've been on this forum I don't believe I've ever seen a discussion on why deck boats get a bad rap. My boss at work is considering a used one--what should I tell him?

Re: Marine 31 Mildew

It was my understanding that this product IS NOT A BLEACH. That’s why I bought it. This from their website: “Marine 31 Mildew Remover quickly and safely removes stubborn mildew stains on virtually all marine surfaces, including vinyl seat cushions, rubber fenders, fiberglass, gel coat, canopies, an...

Re: Heard of Easy Cover?

I really like the idea of not messing around with a mooring cover. My boat is at a cottage & sits on the water all season and is covered while I'm away. Every time I go to uncover it's soaked with dew and the seats are also soaked due to lack of ventilation. My previous 'toon didn't have nice seats ...

Re: Heard of Easy Cover?

It's a full-length canopy that drops to cover the top of the fence to keep out the elements. In use it will open stacked to cover only the rear, or fully to cover the entire boat. Operates electrically, by remote. Small website , small distribution, Michigan company. LOVE the idea but I'm sure I'll ...

Heard of Easy Cover?

A new tri-toon has shown up on my little lake and has a unique feature I've never seen before:

Re: How many of us are running a dual battery setup?

Glad I switched back to a 2-battery setup. I hadn't used my boat since July 4th but found the battery dead this weekend--even though it was switched OFF. It would have been a bummer having to wait several hours for it to charge before I could take it out. AND now I can't trust THAT battery.

Re: Trolling motor update

A couple months ago I watched a guy (by himself) launch a bass boat....he backed in and pulled out without getting out of his pickup....went and parked his rig then walked down to the dock, climbed in and took off...impressive. Are you saying he backed it off the trailer, held position by the ramp,...

Re: Smelly Dog

What about all those shampoos & body washes hunters use to eliminate body scent? I bought a bottle of Remington scent-removing wash years ago based on an article that claimed it was even great at removing skunk smell from a dog. Fortunately I've never needed it.

Re: Trimming the Motor

I've always suspected that analysis is correct for pontoons that plow rather than plane in the water. Most pontoons simply can't plane (I don't know about the 150HP+ tri-toons...maybe?) so you're actually levering the bow up (and pushing the stern down) by raising the thrust angle. That takes energy...

Re: How do you get your toon off the trailer?

BTW I have the typical stack of old tires to sit my toon onto but for the past 3-4 years I've been using 4 big solid blocks of Styrofoam instead. Tractor Supply gets their utility trails stacked without wheels mounted and the blocks are used to keep them separated for transport. They give them away....

Re: How do you get your toon off the trailer?

I always assumed folks with bunk trailers (or no trailer) borrow, rent or employ someone with a scissor-lift trailer to pluck their 'toon out of the water & drop it on their lot.

Is there a limit?

My boss recently bought a lake cottage & is starting to look at pontoon boats. He ran across an ad for a used 27' tri-toon with twin 350's. Seriously do mfr's make pontoons that are factory-rated to handle 700HP??
