If yours is like mine there is no way to get it out. I drilled a small hole in bottom of toon, and use ss screw with rubber gasket to ckose hole. Been using this for years. I have no idea how it gets in. I used a shopvac on blow whie Betty sprayed soapy water all around welds and keel strip. Nothing...

You can buy snap on plastic grommets if you need more ties. They close with a tarp in between.

We used massive quantities of mothballs. You do not want to get on your boat and find parts of dead birds, rabbits or such. We had one have a litter of kittens that died when we moved where we kept th boat.

As as Evinrude owner I personally stay with Yahmaha. Evinrude service is a pain for owner service. Unless things have changed water pump replacement is a pain, plus spark plugs are expensive and have to be indexed. Oil is 50 a gallon also.

If your thinking that I recommend a Youtube channel called Gone With the Wynns. They were novice sailors in the beginning coming from RV travel Very enlightening what you need to know and do to live the life aboard

Prop wash doesn't hurt concrete but gravel, sand, whatever at end of the ramp. When Tenkiller was 20' down the ramp ends had holes and gravel mounds made by prop wash.
