Re: power bimini tops

I put a schwintek pwr arm II on and couldn't be happier. No experience with two of them but I think you have to butt them together. Bought it on Pontoon stuff with the discount.

Re: ECO MERCMONITOR

Got the mercmonitor installed, also installed a water pressure sensor. It was an easy install, not much to it. Hardest thing was removing the boot on the motor and putting the wire in the engine case. Took about an hour, didn't have a chance to put it on the water but I will today. I did hook the wa...

Re: Spring in Oklahoma

So I got on the water early yesterday, fishing was slow a lot of Sand bass. As I was coming off the water a buddy of mine was launching his boat, sent me a text about 8pm last night saying I left to early.

Re: Merc 90 4-stroke oil change - oil capacity question

I just did my 2015 90HP four stroke and it took 5.5 quarts with filter change. Oil is 3/4 on the crosshatch. Need to do the lower unit next.

ECO MERCMONITOR

Just got a Mercmonitor, primarily for the hour gauge, troll control and several other monitoring capabilities. Paid just north of $400 for the kit, that included the level 1 monitor, 20' cable, male to male adapter and the water pressure sensor. Hope I can find some decent install instruction. Anyon...

Re: Spring in Oklahoma

[quote="C_M_25"]Argh! My lake was dropping and it was only 2 ft from the water dropping below the road to the marina, and they got a couple of inches of rain last night! The lake is on its way up again! :censored :censored I guess I'm going to take the kayak down to lawtonka and try and get a few wa...

Re: Spring in Oklahoma

Caught them at lake Ellsworth.
Last year at lake Lawtonka I was able to catch my limit every time out.

These are actually saugeye, cross bred walleye and sauger. IMHO best eating freshwater fish.

Re: What prop do you have with Merc 90 4-stoke on 24'

I chased the rpm/performance game for an entire season. I have a 2015 22' Sun tracker with a 90merc Command thrust. Initially came with an aluminum 15x17p on it and at WOT it would spin 4900-5100 rpms (lugging the motor IMO) So I went on the hunt for a prop that would put me in the in the optimal ra...

Re: First launch with a PWR Arm Bimini

Mine in full down position also. But I have found sometimes flapping is a problem so I do what you did I have a snap clip and I clip both zipper ends together. Yeah, I found out the hard way that the wind buffeting will loosen the zippers. The boot doesn't fit near as tight as the OEM boot on the O...

If you feel a need for speed, then get a couple of jet skis or a runabout.
That's what I did, see signature.

First launch with a PWR Arm Bimini

I had the opportunity to put the toon on the water today, Top worked great! So much easier then the old Bimini. For those that have one, what position is your bimini in while towing. I ask because I damn near lost my cover while towing, both zippers unzipped due to flapping in the wind. Bimini was i...

Re: finally got the electric bimini installed, questions.

the arms on mine are also out of sync. Are you suppose to run until the breaker trips every time or only until they arms are synced I have tired unplugging the motors to get them running the same but it really doesn't work. I am probably the only one that notices that they are not in sync. Mike Yes...

Re: finally got the electric bimini installed, questions.

So I get to the boat at lunch, ground the trolling motor battery and it works flawless. Theory number 1 $hitCanned. Next thing I do is loosen both bolts on one side and lift the motor, wires are all tucked in the channel no pinch issue so I remove one bolt and add another washer, tighten it back dow...
