Re: Trolling motor

I could be wrong but I don't think the inverter ,,if it came on the truck will even come close to running a charger of much any size.. How big of charger? Amp output of converter? And that will require keeping the engine running...its just a tough situation,, trying to charge with out ac power.

Re: Trolling motor

yes, what Marc and Oldchuck say..... all those brands are really 3 manufactures for the most ordinary lead acid wet batteries, we are excluding the "exotics" here. I just went down to O'reileys and picked up 2 of their 27 marine deep cycles. I'm sure they are fine. Was looking hard at interstate but...

Re: Trolling motor

Definitely the salt water version for salt use... Don't know about your situation with current and wind but I would think with normal Conditions ?? The 80 would be a reasonable place to start but I have seen in some parts of the states some pretty tough currents on salt water. Do lots of research , ...

Re: Trolling motor

Might as well start looking at chargers too. I went with 2 onboard chargers instead of one big one for my 3 batteries.. It just seemed to be easier than trying to find one big space for one big charger given my limited storage.
