Re: Bug residue

Hmmm, would really need to see a pic of the overall situation. Could you cover the boat with some type of commercial boat cover or tarp? Maybe a black light bug zapper 20-30 feet away to draw them away, but they are indiscriminate killers and you have to keep them cleaned out. I have seen a bug zapp...

Re: Bunk glides

Also read about some guy using split rain gutter but I don't know how that tu...

Re: Bunk glides

ok, thanks for that. do you think they would fit over the existing carpet or do I have to strip the bunks down to bare wood so they will fit?

Re: Battery locations for adding 24v trolling motor

I'll keep an eye on your thread. I'm wanting a 24v also. Pretty cut and dry that my 2 batts will be midships. I'm looking at the Power Drive V2 48 inch. Alot of opinion is that it is too short but I think it will be fine. I'm sure that Minn Kota would not have brought it to market if it was unusable...

My 2017 18 Bass Buggy with the 60ct I bought new came with a 14x11. I get 22.5 mph at 5850 with a light load and 2 people.

Bunk glides

Tired of being stuck to the trailer and having to back my truck down to the durn rear axle. So whats y'alls favorite bunk slide/glide solution? I've seen a few of the commercially available glides. What y'all got?

Re: Adjustable steering friction

ok,,, I found the seastar system manual for my new 2017 suntracker bass buggy. There was no mention of adjusting the steering effort. Just reading between the lines, it led me to believe the new "no feedback" systems no longer utilize the old adjusting knob..Thats all I got. And using the trip tab t...

Re: Adjustable steering friction

Beats me, my new boat didn't have the knob but I remember them from many past boats. maybe something hidden somewhere like you say. Surely somebody out there knows.

Re: Adjustable steering friction

But that old steering friction knob does bring back a few memories. Years ago my bro in law (he was crazy) in an old 15ft glastron, in the middle of the night going out across lake LBJ Tx. just as fast as that boat would go. He turned loose of the wheel to look at something and before I had a chance...
