Re: Buying lessons needed for nice pontoon

We looked at a bunch toons the other day, several 2018 3toon sweetwaters with hydraulic steering and 200 hp engines at 47k...and that was just price on placard. Biggest difference would be seating materials like leather v/s vinyl , stored inside and no bad weather, they both would look good in 5 yea...

Re: How many dock lines?

I think it should not be far enough away that boats momentum will compress fender solid, does that make sense? boat would get more speed 6 inches from fender than 1 inch, I do about an inch so boat doesnt rub and wear thru the fender on boat or dock

Re: How many dock lines?

Cleats? My boat & aluminum dock have none & I've never seen any on any of my neighbor's docks, either. Funny how in a "lake community" you often see the same brands of boats, trailers, and see everybody doing everything the same way. I just throw a hooped line from each corner of the boat over 2 of...

Re: Restoring "Loretta Jane"

all I found was make sure motor is all the way up, ensure strong support/safety bars in place (takes the load off the main pin so trilobe pin has no force on it) and either vice grip and turn out OR beat the shit out of it until you have clearance under the mushroom head for a clawed pry bar...but s...

Re: Disguising blemish in carpet?

After reading responses it is obvious ya'll ain't got animals :nono I can let you borrow my rubber boots (you gotta pay shipping) when you get them; step in regular plain water before stepping on carpet. That will rehydrate the chicken, goat, dog and alpaca shit. Just walk around boat drinking a bee...
