Re: Brown pt plywood

Technically you can use the green BUT it CAN NOT touch aluminum anodized or not, (it will corrode it) so if you used rubber or something strips it would work. But for the trouble AND glue adhesion issues, I wouldn't use it. The marine plywood is about $85 a Sheet, has no voids and uses waterproof gl...

Re: Another prop question

Sorry for long delay, life and death and vacation got in the way. After running from Florence on Wednesday, we and a couple other couples ended up in some cabins on our home lake. 1st off original data was knots not mph, I switched my plotter to mph for everyone else and we say 9-ish mph at 5500 rpm...

Re: Fuel tank venting question.

I wouldn't call it redneck, they actually drilled and tapped the aluminum sending unit instead of trying same on the thin plastic tank. A lot of boats with small/portable size tanks do not have enough venting when filling tank OR they use the filler neck as a vent. You get a lot of burping while fil...

I just found out we have a family reunion Saturday, glad it is just across the field, prop will wait until Sunday. I can't get boat in slip alone, too tight and i actually respect my neighbors boat...them tho ...

Re: Another prop question

Well after talking with propgods and a couple others, i found a NOS--> SOLAS AMITA 4 SD4X13.25X13R 4413-133-13, comes with a suzuki hub for wayyyyy cheaper, box is really faded, prop looks NIB though It should give me a couple mph but biggest advantage should be more low/mid torque to fight current ...
