Re: BATTERY QUESTION

I believe the Battery Tender should have kept your battery, or charged it to 100%, unless a cell or more dried up. Did you ever check your fluid levels after you had the issue? Once dead, you can’t bing it back, just wondering for a cause...

Re: 2018 Bennington - No Hour Meter!

I don’t have a Bennington, but I also was disappointed when I found out mine didn’t have an hour meter. I think I needed to purchase the next line up to get one. I bought an aftermarket one for about $10 - $12, and attached it under the engine cowling to a spark plug wire. I could have run it outsid...

Re: EZ fender

I just bought two, and may need more. I’ll know Monday when we get our boat up to our seasonal site. Then I will decide where they go and how many I need. I’m also using a different type of fender on the rear and middle, but I don’t think it will work on the front with the way our boat sits, thus th...

Re: Location for a second battery

Welcome to the forum. Do you have room under your helm? Many place one or two batteries under the helm for trolling motors, etc, and run the cables as needed.

Re: Where do you fill her up with gas? Cans, station or marina?

Then I’ll have to hold the can up to fill via funnel. The off road cans empty fairly quickly, as long as the funnel can take it. Hope it doesn’t get old too quickly. I fill my boat from two 5 gallon jugs every weekend. No way I would ever use a funnel. Get a jiggle siphon (some call them shaker sip...

Re: Where do you fill her up with gas? Cans, station or marina?

We will be seasonal for first time this summer (leave in three weeks). The boat dock does not have gas, but the camp we’re at does. I plan on filling up five gallon gans (I have three), and filling up when tank gets around half. We did buy one of those fold up wagons which fit three cans. Then I’ll ...

I’m getting a response similar to “the specified search backend does not exist” when I hit “new post”, “unread posts”, “your posts”. My format looks different also on my iPad, which is what I always use. Not sure what to make of this...

Also going out tomorrow. Forcast is 78 degrees. Need to get hours on this thing in order to do first oil change before going seasonal.

Re: Welcome

[quote="OldGuy"]I bought my first pontoon a couple of months ago. It is in storage till I pick it up. Also bought a trailer. Looking for answers as to whether I need to strap the pontoon onto the trailer, or will the weight of the pontoon itself plus being attached to the winch be enough to hold it ...

Re: Pontoon Boat Innovation

Richard, that looks really good! I also have the fake teak flooring. Where did you get the vinyl for your hatch?
