Re: Marine 31 Mildew

It's the "lot of bleach" part that concerns me. I found plain bleach does an awesome, quick job of removing mildew & stains but I'm scared I'm shortening the life of my seats. I just sprayed it on, and never even had to touch anything with a brush or rag. Does it say in the instructions to spray on...

Re: Marine 31 Mildew

Hey, Rick. I also found the wonder of Marine 31. The toon had been on a lift, exposed to saltwater for 15 years. It really cleaned seats that were expected to be beyond saving. The only caution would be to be sure to fully rinse everything. Marine 31 has a lot of bleach! Bleach + upholstery thread =...

Re: pontoon boats and Florida inlets

If you're looking to buy, seriously consider a double bimini for Florida! Totally have to agree with Zoom650 on this. Was a sun-lover for many, many years. Buncha skin cancer removals and burn-&-peels later, I can't take the direct sun much anymore. If we didn't have double biminis, I wouldn't be a...

Re: Never knew what I was missing.

Totally have to agree with steve1313. We had a SeaDoo 150 Speedster jet boat, but it's made for 2 things: to go really fast, and to go faster. It's a lot of fun, but the chop in the Santa Rosa Sound can be pretty stout and a small-hull boat will roll around a good bit when trying to have a sandwich....

Re: Who is watching fire works on the water on 4th?

Watched from our dock. On the Sound, we have a clear view of Pensacola's, Navarre Beach's, and the length of the beach properties and our neighbors. 360* viewing for about 2 hours. Great time with great friends! :thumbsup :thumbsup

Glad you solved the problem, but you need to up your wine game!! Franzia???? If you're going to limit yourself to box wine at least go for Black Box! :drink4 :) HAHAHA! Franzia is a choice bansil enjoys. I usually only have wine when I want to REALLY mellow out. Beer and Bourbon are my choices. :gi...

Re: PSA pulled over by Fish police

Man! So sorry to hear this crap luck. Got pulled over the second time I had mine in the water. The registration numbers were "not spaced properly." I think it was mostly an excuse to do a full safety check looking around. Luckily I have everything on board and only got a warning for the numbers. Lik...

Manual Relief Valve Questions - Help!

Replacing the trim motor and the manual relief valve. Having a problem with the relief valve -- Can't get it to screw all the way into the manifold. Of course, it's a flat screwdriver slot and nothing more. Couple of questions: A. What can be done to get it driven all the way in? B. What is the meta...

Re: Restoring "Loretta Jane"

Please allow me this moment........ TRILOBE PINS SUCK!!!! And maybe even the guy who invented them. Trying to replace the trim motor and the ram trilobe pin won't budge. Ended up breaking the head off. Dammit! Reading a thousand forums, etc. some recommend pound the main pin through and shear the tr...
