After having cruised the east coast, gulf coast and Bahamas on a variety of sailboats and single engine trawlers, I can honestly say do not take chances. Have a viable get home plan. We are about 1-1/2 hours south of Savannah on the (big) Satilla River. We are in the lower tidal portion of the river near Woodbine, GA. The board does not look like it accepts uploaded media so I'll post pictures when I go inside. I'm sitting on the dock and don't seem to have much will to move. Gary

Hello from coastal Georgia

We bought a pontoon boat about 20 years ago to use on the river that we live on. Never used it much and got sidetracked with a progression of sailboats and trawler yachts. My wife of 41 years has finally called a halt to offshore boating so I am trying to revive the pontoon to use as a fishing/campi...
