Re: Cleats on a pontoon

Our Lowe has pop-up/retractable cleats on each side of the boat. Love that I can pop them back in when not in use.

Re: Recommendation for a big dog toon ladder or ramp

When you find a solution, please post.

We have 3 dogs that are 100 to 120lbs. A flimsy plastic attachment wont work for us and I also cant have something that blocks people from using the rear ladder for access

Re: New Indiana boater

Hows your power with the 150? I am looking at a Sun Tracker 24 with a 150 and am worried about having enough power to pull tubes. I have nothing to compare to as far as pontoons are concerned as this was the first one I've been on and the first one I've owned.... but it is fast. With just the wife ...

Re: July 4th Weekend Plans

Well, I happen to be a fireworks guru....we typically do 4 or 5 town shows over the weekend. This year I unfortunately have to work so I am taking the wife and friends out tomorrow (3rd) for her birthday.

Cant wait. Water was 83 degrees 2 days ago and was ridiculously refreshing.

Re: Looking for info on Lowe pontoons

Not sure how much my info will help: Wife and I are now first time boat/pontoon owners and we chose to go with Lowe. We went to several shows and looked and researched and evaluated what we wanted vs what we needed. We opted for the SS210 Walkthrough with a 150 mercury. I wanted something that could...

Re: LIFE VEST

I opted for good vests. I had the bulky orange "standards" in my cart and put them back for good ones. Didnt see a reason to skimp on safety when it came to the people on the boat.

Flying Old Glory

I was doing some searching and found little or next to nothing in regards to what I'm looking for (as I envision it anyway). What do you guys use to fly flags from your rigs? I have seen multiple versions of cheap tiny flag poles that clip here or there but it's not really what I want. I want someth...

Re: Satelite r8

you can go on Ebay or craigslist and pick up a mobile transmitter for CHEAP. Ive got one on my toon and love it. Could you provide a link or picture? Also, do these still require you to purchase a separate subscription? Like the OP, I have XM in the truck and would love to take one of the portable ...

Re: New Indiana boater

Well, we got the boat out for the first time a few weeks ago during the week to get some practice at the ramp. Water was way too chilly to get in, but we definitely enjoyed getting out on the water and enjoying the sunshine and tranquility.

New Indiana boater

Hello all. New to the forum and new to pontoon life. After a few years of boating with the in-laws and deliberating our own plan, the wife and I decided to get our own boat. We decided on a 2019 21 foot Lowe walk through with a 150hp Merc (SS210WT). We take possession here in the next week. We liter...
