I'll probably take my boat in to have it serviced in 6 weeks or so. Don't believe we've ever replaced the thermostat.. probably should have the mechanic check that. Craig, how often do you replace the impeller? I normally replace mine every 3 years. I used to do 3 but it's going on 5 this year. Alt...

They will not answer the phone when called. I have been trying to get parts for my lift for two months and nobody seems to care. Terrible customer service, seems that they only care to sell new lifts.

took another visit to check on cover. We had 3-4" of snow over New Years when we were at the beach then some rain. THE FLOATER had 2! gallons of water pooled and an inch of ice. After all these years of thinking about how to build it and then to have the support work makes me smile.

Dauphin Island

We decided to make last years New Years trip an annual one. Heading down again this year. Cassady is tagging along for most of this one. We are arriving the 28th staying until the 2nd.

went to check on THE FLOATER after 40 -50 mph gusts and 1-2" of rain. Bow was perfect had some pooling in stern so pushed that out and tightened it all up back there. I may need to add another support there. All in all I think I nailed it!
