Now that THE FLOATER is close to home I've been able to do more work on it. I noticed how bad the tires were cracked on the trailer. More than likely they are the originals. Craig..Be my guest... I don't remember off hand the size of the "brackets" I got.. but I just went to a hardware store and got them.. The pole(s) are 10 feet long.. each pole comes in two 5 feet sections and they just screw together like those old time billiards / pool sticks. Since each pole breaks...

If cost is an issue at all, the Garmin Striker 4 is $100 and has GPS (speed), simple nav (no map but can do breadcrumb trails and store waypoints), and depth. Good deal! That's what plenty of strake will do. Jumping on plane with a 90 is great! How low is your motor mounted? The motor is mounted as low as possible.
