Hi from an Aussie

#1 Post by maxwedge » Sat Apr 11, 2009 4:35 pm

Hey all, Al's my name and I live in a place called North Yunderup in Western Australia and lucky for us we are right on the Murray River in a cottage with our own jetty.
At the moment the missus and I are (dare I say) bow rider boat owners but she has been on to me about one of these pontoons and yesterday while boating the river finds a Sanpan 25 with 4 stroke 90 Merc 4 sale.
I know nothing about which pontoons to stay away from ect so any advice welcome.
Regards Al

No pic of the toon yet but here is a shot early morning across our river from the jetty, a great place for pontooning.

Welcome Glad to have you with us , I heard of nothing bad about SanPan, but I let other that might know better try to help.

But the main thing make sure the deck is solid and is not soft anywhere.

Great Picture of the jetty
