New Member in Texas

#1 Post by JEB » Mon Feb 08, 2016 4:58 pm

I just joined the forum. In July, we bought a used 1985 Starcraft 24' with a 1979 Johnson 140. I'm going to start the tear down in the next week. She needs a new deck. The previous owner patched a section with regular Home Depot plywood. I decided, if I am going to tear it down I might as well replace the whole deck. She also needs new seats, and of coarse carpet. I'm going to put in a new 24 gallon permanent above deck gas tank. And paint the fencing. I can't wait to get going on it, and back out on the water. I know my children are really looking forward to this Spring. Oh, and yes I know, if there are no pics, it didn't happen.

Thanks guys. I have looked at a lot of the other posts on rebuilds. Because of this, I am more confidant in what I am about to undertake. I recomend this forum and pontoon stuff to every toon owner I come across.
