Hello,

My wife and I just bought our first pontoon boat. I am here just looking to see what everyone is doing. We live in northern Alabama and will be boating on the Tennessee most of the time.

Hope to get some inspiration and ideas for things to do and how to safely operate the toon.

Thanks for the site it looks like a great place for information. :usa

welcome to the newbies, glad to have you aboard, just got back from the lake unfortunately all I did was cut the grass down there.
Did enjoy the view and stayed until dark. Lots of good info here, mechanical and otherwise.

Jeff what part of Ky , I be up in Whitesburg for the 4 th God willing, no time for tooning to much reunion work to do, selling fireworks to support what we fire every year.

This year we adding a firing system so we have to do more set up work and plus I want to make some big one's by next year, I figgure out a few 6 inchers to finish the show up and leave their ears ringing.

Probably mostly on Barren River Lake (Allen County/Barren County) since it is closest but my goal is to check out all the great lakes in Kentucky. We'll be renting a pontoon on Barren River Lake this summer (can't wait). It's been a while since I've been on a boat and I had forgotten how fun it was (probably been since the mid to late 80's).
