Glad to be here. There may be a pontoon boat in my future, so I'm trying to get educated!

Welcome to the forum. Many on here love the room and function of their pontoon/tritoon boats and the lifestyle they bring.

After owning a 2 tooned boat with a 115 hp 2 stroke engine for 28 years, I switched to a new tritoon and 4 stroke 150 hp. The speed and seaworthiness is so much better with three toons and the larger engine.

I was out on the river today as the wind finally died down. Cruising by myself was just heavenly, and I'm glad we're getting close to Summer.

Welcome friend. Lots of knowledge here, just filter objectively, and you will find a plethora of info.

Thanks for the warm welcome all!

I've currently got a 454/berk jet boat that I think I can get at least 10K for. If I throw in another 10-15k, do you think I can get into a nice used toon? I've been doing some reading here, and it appears that a tri-toon with 150hp is what everyone recommends.

Am I dreaming or is this a possibility for 20-25K?

Thanks, Leo
