Hello from central Florida!

#1 Post by freefallin1309 » Tue Jul 12, 2016 3:52 pm

Hello all, just joined. Just bought a Regency 254 LE3 and am a first time toon owner. I've had it on the water once now and am in love with the toon life! Where I live, is Winter Haven, FL ... AKA The Chain of Lakes City. There's over 600 lakes in my county alone, many are "chained" together by canals and locks, so I can go all day on just one chain ... they call it here living the "Chain Life"

Anyway, below is my boat and I'm sure I'll have lots of questions for all the seasoned Tooners on here :)

They're actually a brown, like ron nh said, UPS brown :) I wanted a different color, black to match my blacked-out truck. But unfortunately Regency comes in only 1 color. Its actually a good/bad thing, we were caught in a storm on Sunday and I was headed back to the ramp through a canal. I was being good and sticking to the starboard side of the canal and then a huge gust of wind blew me into a bridge foundation where it scraped the toon. When I got it out of the water to look, the scrape is easy to spot due to the paint, and its more of a gouge. It didn't go all the way through, but I'm going to have to keep an eye on it. But being painted brown, it was easy to spot :biggrin2
