Prospective pontooner who foound your wonderful discussion board while researching an upcoming purchase. I am so grateful for sites like this when considering a major move oof time or money--or both! Loooking at a pontoon to keep at Canyon Lake, which is a beautiful lake in The Texas Hill Country. I have zero boating experience except for the occasional lake rental, including pontoon boats. My wife and I are leaning towards a decent used boat with at least a 115-150 on it to have our teenage kids be able to ski. All of the comments about hp, third pontoon, etc....have been a great help.
