Corner cleat/u-bolt

#1 Post by Paige » Fri Dec 09, 2016 10:00 am

Hi! I'm new, so please excuse my lack of knowledge. We have a Bennington. Our left rear metal corner piece w/cleat needs to be replaced. I found one of ebay for $50--really? Do you have any suggested sources? TIA for your assistance.

www.greatlakesskipper.com is a goot source for parts, but it may be the same part you found on eBay as GLS is on eBay...
We have a Bennington.
Well Welcome!

My son has a Bennington. its really nice he had a Bimini top that came loose on one side of the boat while trailering and it broke the main cross member. $500.00 Dollars and two months later he got a new one and we fixed the top.

IF you want to keep it original ...............Its the price you pay. I'm sure you can find a cheaper part but keep in mind it wont be what you bought that boat for. It probably wont match and it will effect a future sale possibly. Now I don't own a Bennington , but if I did I would consider keeping it OEM. Good Luck.
