New pontoon owner in Missouri

#1 Post by MidWestBoater » Thu Jul 06, 2017 10:17 am

Hi all. I'm a recent convert, I just sold our 2008 Caravelle 217 LS with 270hp Volvo Penta 5.0GXi and bought a new 2017 Lowe SS210 Tritoon with 115 Mercury Pro XS CT. Love the pontoon so far, more room, more shade, better ride.. The only downside is the gas mileage my truck gets when towing this parachute. :lol3

Thanks Curtis... Now I just need to widen my driveway so I have a parking spot for it! :)

I'm pushing 50' with my 24' boat, trailer and 3/4 ton crewcab tow vehicle. These things take up a lot of room. Some people have to rent a space in a mini-storage lot to park'em.

Midwestboater... congratulations on the new toon... yeah they do take up a bit of space but they sure are nice and comfortable out on the lake... I see we are from the same area.. I was born and raised 20 minutes from Busch Stadium over in Granite City, but have lived in the south for 35 years.. Haven't shoveled a driveway since I was 27 years old.... again, congrats on the boat.. love that color.

Thanks all. Roland, I've been through Granite City many times over the years. I grew up in Florissant and moved down to the Imperial area about 11 years ago. I don't shove snow, I just park on top of it. lol.
