I have been a member of a few forums. Just joined this one and thought I would say hello in test how it works and posting pictures. I am waiting for delivery of my new Tri-toon here in Michigan . I traded in the twin toon 2011 Benny 2275 GCW with a 115 merc for a 2017 Starcraft SLS3 with a Evinrude G2 250HP.
I want to table with a little more Top end speed and pulling power for my young family who wants to tube and ski wake board ect. Really looking forward to getting it put in the water and summer to come here in Michigan . Here are a picture or two from the previous owner. I know everybody likes pictures!

Finally got some time in the new boat. All I can say is WOW!
The difference in having a tri-toon with a large displacement motor like that is amazing. I was able to run the boat with the maximum amount of people which is 12 with coolers and snacks while pulling a three-person tube very effectively. Can still exceed well over 35 even with the tube. Not that you should.
While light on fuel and running solo it can hit just above 50.
Very stable and handles great for what it is.

Hello Whitelaker.

I am new to this forum too and, similar to GoneFishing, I am not from Michigan but I lived there for a number of years near Port Huron. I have moved south to Central Virginia.

Beautiful boat you got there.

Welcome to the forum!

Jeff

Hello whitelaker... welcome to the group... good looking rig you have there. I"m sure with that 250 on the back end that tri toon will scoot pretty good across the lake. congrats on the new boat and thanks for sharing the pics.
