New to the forum.
Hello everyone. My name is Joe and I am new to the forum and pontoon boating. I have a deposit on a 2021 Lowe 182 Ultra Fish & Cruise. Does anyone have any comments about this particular pontoon? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
Re: New to the forum.
OH NO!!!! You actually bought the dreaded Lowes 182??? Do a search here and you'll find that a very large percentage of those start to fall completely apart after just a couple of uses. The deck is made from a type of cardboard and if it gets too wet it starts to disinegrate.
Nah, I'm just messing with you. Lowe's is a brand that has been around for awhile, so you'll be fine. I know you'll enjoy being out on the water.
Welcome to the forum. You'll find lot's of great info here, and not everybody is a smartass like me! LOL

I was ready to call the dealer and cancel the purchase. You got me. LOL. I just can't find any information about that model on the web.

Re: New to the forum.
I cancelled the purchase of the Lowe and found a new Sun Tracker Bass Buggy 18. No delivery until mid-June. Fingers crossed.
Re: New to the forum.
Welcome to the group. Just curious, why did you cancel on the Lowe's boat? Since you went with the Sun Tracker, I'm assuming it's coming with a mercury outboard right? You're going to enjoy the heck fishing out of that bass buggy. We have a 20 foot bennington with a fishing floor plan.. To me, the nice thing about fishing out of a pontoon boat is if you're out on the water all day, it's just so much more comfortable than a bass boat. With your bass buggy you can stand up and walk around and stretch your legs. I think you're going to be pleased... congratulations on the new rig.

Re: New to the forum.
I cancelled on the Lowe because there was a backorder on the outboard. The dealer was very nice in that he was going to lend me a used 50hp until the 75 came in. It was going to take me two trips up to Flagstaff to complete the boat. Also, I was not thrilled on the floor plan layout of the Lowe. I looked very cramped. Now I see it is back on the dealer's web site for sale with no price. I bet that they will get much more for the pontoon since they are in such short supply.

Where in AZ? They still have that steakhouse outside of mesa that cuts your tie off and staples it to the ceiling?

Sorry for not responding sooner; but I was out of town. I am in Scottsdale, AZ. I have not heard of this place that your were asking about; but it sounds like a fun place.
