New kid on the block

#1 Post by CRoe » Tue Sep 01, 2009 3:26 pm

Hi all. My name is Clyde and I have a 93 Fisher 18 Spectrum with a 60 Johnson. I just finished restoring everything from the deck up with all new furniture, carpet and top. Traded the bass boat for it last year and I love it. I'm sure there will be some questions I will need to ask at a later date but, for now, I am going to just hang out. Glad to be here. Hope everyone is having a great summer.

Pics coming soon Jim454. Had a small fire when the "brand new" battery shorted out. Slight damage to the rear carpet and LOTS of soot. I'm cleaning it up now to get it back in the water.

I know this post is really late but there are some things I want to say about this site. First, thanks for all the welcomes. I really makes me feel at home. Second, I am a member of another site that deals with a certain car I have and it seems to be full of snotty people. Don't get me wrong, it also has some really good helpfull members. This site seems to have mostly all good people that won't judge you on the type of boat you own and I love that. I originally came to this site just to have a couple of questions answered but I think I have found a new home. I will make another post including pics and full story about the reserection of my toon. Thanks for all the help and beng GOOD people. My boat is docked on Weiss lake in NE Alabama so I hope to see some of you on the water soon. Thanks again.

Clyde
