New pontooner in Lake Oswego, Oregon...
2013 Premier Sunsation 180. Leaks already... speedo tube seems to be severed and dumping water under the raised helm and seat assembly, and of course the speedo doesn't work as a result.
This problem existed the minute I put the new boat in the water three weeks ago.
Every thing else seems OK so far.

We are very new to this, the forum and to pontoon ownership. We have purchased a pontoon, but do not have it yet. We will take our maiden voyage on Thursday. I was hoping to get on a forum that could give us pointers on enjoying our new toy.

We live in Montana and will be boating on reservoirs rather than actual lakes. Getting to know these bodies of water are my biggest concern. Also what do I need to take on the pontoon as a survival kit?

Welcome to the forum. Water, first aid kit, PFD, rope, check out your state Regs for what you must have on board. Just keep an eye on the other people out on the lake.

New 'tooner in central Texas with a new to me 2011 Sun Tracker. Many lakes in my area ranging from 45 minute drive to a couple hours. Sizes range from small (Granger Lake) to large (Sam Rayburn). Probably close to 15 lakes I can commute to. Looking forward to all the fun times!
