Ain't skeered, that's awesome. I live here down south louisiana also . I launch in Des allemandes and travel through the bayou until I get to Lake Salvador. I'm going get my boat back from the shop friday and I ordered a new prop myself (had a 13 1/4 x 15 aluminum and went to stainless 13 1/4 x 17) . One day I may travel to manchac area and ride my boat there

im really happy with this prop. it still jumps out the water really fast for a big boat. i may go to a stainless if this one gets banged up or just order another one. Cant complain for $86

another note, im really happy with how this boat handles rough water. Lake Maurepas had 3-4 ft rollers today , it got a little rough going side ways in them but great head on in to them.

Aint Skeered, How do you like the Iphone GPS app? That may be a significantly cheaper alternative for me right now.

well worth the .99 i paid for it, works fairly well and has voice directions too. sometimes takes a minute to pick up the speed but works pretty well.

search for gps drive by motion x
well worth it

Sorry to hijack this thread, but you're in Wichita Falls? So am I. What lake do you go to? I've only been to Arrowhead once in my Toon, but I'll be going there just about every time.

NO im in South Louisiana. I run Lake Maurepaus and the Ticfaw river. THe Lake where the kids are on the tube is at Percy Quinn state park in Mississippi.
