Hello from MN

#1 Post by Up North » Mon Jul 12, 2010 2:27 pm

Hello - I am new to the forum. We are in the process of finding our first pontoon and found this site in doing my research.

Hope to benefit from everyone's experience and help out whenever I can. While new to pontoons, I have been fishing and boating for the past 6 years.

I am in MN and have a lake cabin "Up North" in the Brainierd area.

Look forward to getting to know folks online going forward.

From the little reading I have done so far on the site, I think you have a great group of folks here and am excited to participate.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Been working hard these past couple of days looking at toons. I have seen most of the brands new models and a few used ones too.

The new Pontoon market must be strong up here in MN. The dealers do not seem to have much interest in 'dealing' too much.

Even the newer used models seem to command a high percentage of new price. Not what I was expecting as I thought the time of year and the slow economy...Oh well, no more complaining, I will keep looking...

Thanks again for the welcome!
