fish finder

I have heard that the sonar part of the fishfinder emits something that may scare some fish??? anyone got a take on this??

highly doubt it, its a very subtle ping.

people wouldnt use them if they scared the fish away

Well I would think the guys on the bass pro circuit wouldnt use them if that was true.

Seriously doubt it...but it would explain why fish are afraid of my hooks! :lol:

I hear that Ranger fish are afraid of my hooks.... that might be why all I caught were sardine size they don`t know any better & very hungry.
