Dual Fish Finders?

#1 Post by Mr Geets » Sat Nov 03, 2012 6:51 am

I am thinking of adding another fish finder to my pontoon boat. I am getting tired of son in law (great guy - but.......) always asking how deep are we? Another fish finder mounted forward side of control console would be his answer this coming summer.

The thought crossed my mind that a portable fish finder might work for both pontoon and "Baby Boat" 12 ft with 7.5 Merc. Sunshine guys can tune out here but what about using portable for ice fishing? Any thoughts?

I believe, Humminbird makes a splitter set-up to run 2 fish finders on 1 transducer.
