$5 to catch crabs? Not bad, I once paid $50 in Mexico. :coffee
Just verified it on Snopes. Liberals are complete mouth breathing idiots.

In Sweden there is no boat registration, well, there is, but it is volunteerly.
Fishing on the coast or the 3 largest lakes of Sweden is free and require no license but one is not allowed to use a net.
Fishing in smaller lakes require a license and it is bought for that particular lake. You can buy 1 day license, week license or annual license. There are no restrictions about amount of lines or anything else except using a net.

Cook Islands you only need a license if you are making your living of fishing.

In Maryland a Senior's license is $5.00 for salt and fresh combined. Crabbing license is $2.00 for a Senior. I feel there should be no charge at all. If people went around collecting horse turds they would slap a license fee on that!

The Ocean Enhancement fee is so high in Colorado, that they quit selling it.

But the Colorado River part is included.
