21 nites camped at lake

about 5 of those days it was way too windy to go out in the toon.
Had a great time fishing got 97 crappie, 17 trout, 3 cats, will prob go back in 2 weeks got honeys doo's to catch up on. the lake is low at 19% of cap.

Man that sounds like a great time-and good job especially on them crappie!
I often wonder if Jimmy really did crack corn, and why should I care?

I think I'd be looking for a lake that actually has water in it. Boats work so much better on one.

But I understand things can easily get dry out in the California desert foothills.

Isabella is the only lake within 4 hours of him I believe.

I may make it out there the 21-22 of June, we will see

the friday newspaper has it a 18% of cap,,,there is still some deep water in the main channels 40 -60 ft. next close lake of any size is 75 miles with no shoreline camping, since Lake isabella is run by the blm& forest service I get to camp with my senior Pass for free for 14 days of a 30 day period, stay home for 16 days an go back again.
