If you have one near you they are having going out of business sales. They have filed chapter 11. I got a good deal today on a Cannon mini-trol downrigger and acces. Regular price was $69.99 on sale for 20% off ar $55.99. I've wanted to try one Striper fishing for a while. Now I just have to learn how to use it.

Boaters World is also closing all of their stores. Their going out of business sale is 10% off on most items with 30% off on some items. I would think as time goes by they will offer bigger discounts. It appears that more and more businesses are having real problems. We as consumers will probably pay higher prices when the economy turns around due to less competition from closed businesses.
