Father - Son Fishing Adventure

#1 Post by smltooner » Fri May 01, 2009 6:55 pm

I was just looking at the new Smith Mountain Laker Magazine and saw a story you all might be interested in.
A father and son from Smith Mtn. Lake are planning to fish all 50 states in 50 days this summer.
They have set up a website www.fish5050.com with a map showing their route and destinations, species of fish and guide services used.
Sounds like a hell of a trip.
I showed it to my wife and she wants to go with them.

That would make fishing to much like work never mind be on the road for 50 days

#44 is in the Chesapeake Bay, that would make them arrive here in mid-August. Not exactly prime time for big stripers, but it's better for larger numbers of small ones, as well as being prime time for every other species I fish for.
