Location for livewell pump

I have a tri-toon that is not set up for fishing - but that I will be doing a lot of fishing with. The boat only has a bracket on one of the tubes and I don't want my pump and transducer that close together.

As a tri-toon, this boat has the fuel tank in the 3rd toon with about 18" between it and the transom.
Has anyone mounted a pump in that area between them? Any reason not to put one there?

In case the question wasn't clear, I'm wondering about installing a livewell pump here on the aluminum bottom between the fuel tank and the back of the transom.

I've never really looked at that area while I'm underway, but I wonder how much water is in that area while cruising. And if there's plenty of water flowing through that area, how turbulent is it? If it's turbulent it will have lots of air in it, making it hard for the livewell pump to stay primed and to efficiently suck the water.

Thanks Steve. I'll have to look this afternoon or tomorrow as I hadn't looked either. I noticed the area when looking at the back of my boat for where I could mount the pump. But, my boat is on a lift above the water currently. I can tell that area will be below the water line in normal operation, but hadn't thought about the fact that momentum might keep it too dry &/or too turbulent to work. Will post an update observations once I've looked while under power.

Well, there's definitely plenty of water there when sitting still or at idle speed. I was alone and can't see that area without going out of the back gate so wasn't able to check it at speed. Hopefully will get a chance in the next few days. If there's water there, I'm liking it as a place for the pump!

Looked at it while headed out to watch fireworks. Plenty of water at speed but it's moving through there pretty quick. May still try it; not sure how different it'd be if water were moving past a pump sticking out of the back of a transom.

A friendly bump...if I was a fish, anything would be better than strung through my gill bouncing off an aluminum log...just saying
