The "new" camper! take a look (updated pics)!!

#1 Post by curtiscapk » Mon Mar 29, 2010 7:13 am

We have a 30 foot camper on our lot it can sleep 6 okay 8 on the floor. So anyone one else had to walk over to my brothers lots 100 yards away, while not far if they had to many :drink4 there would be a lot of cussing and scraps from the rocks. :rofl I have been looking on Craigslist for an old cheap camper, most of them around 1000 last about an hour I got beat out of a couple because I couldn't make it there till after work. I am glad last Monday I saw a post for camper 300 bucks obo, posted 20 minutes before, told him I give the whole 300 long story short, finally got it. He said there is radio, battery and charger he is throwing in.

Hauled it home Friday night. I redid all the supports under the couch and booth.
Momma wiped everything down with clorox water. I had just enough carpet left over from the other trailer to fit this one. The upper bunk is close to a queen. Air and fridge both cold as ice.

We have named it the Drunk Tank, Tank for short. All the drunks have to do is crawl from the fire pit and pic a spot.

Oh yeah we bought the 2 neighboring lots for 800 bucks total, the guy wanted out for some reason. Man I should go to the casino. Will now be able to keep boat at my place as opposed to my bros.

Took the Tank down yesterday forgot freaking camera. Still need to cut down some trees to get it where we want it.

Pics of Trailer in place and new lots in 2 weeks.

Put in pics wrong order start at the bottom and go up. :donno

NO NO. The camper was 300 :nana :nana and I bought two 40 by 70 lots for 800.

So now I have a big L lot first section 40 by 140 and next 40 by 70 If I could get the guy behind me to sell I'd have 80 by 140.

That would look sweet with a couple pontoons, deck and a bar B Q on it. I think you should get some Power ball tickets. What a steel of a deal. :nana

Thanks Kurt,
That would be sweet! :nana
Yeah we done good on this one. Paula was real leary going to look at it thinking for three hundred bucks its gotta be a POS. We were definetly suprised. I have to cut down a couple trees to get it in its rightful spot.

More pics to follow.

The "new" trailer in place, the boat kind off. I need to cut down another tree so I can back straight in it's a crooked right now.

The Floater held up well over the winter. Charcoal and Bounce sheets did their tricks. Very little mold and no spiders or bugs of any kind.

Looks like a nice day out there how come that boat isn't in the water yet ? :rofl Summer is passing ya by. I'm getting snow today and yesterday. :donno How was the roof were there any signs of water damage? Last summer I got a smokin deal on a 1990 class C 24 ' RV.59000 miles on it.$ 6800. Just minor stuff to fix on it.It should pull the pontoon well . :nana Just wandering how well it will launch & retrieve the toon on the boat ramp.( if its steep.) :scared I may be in trouble.Maybe toon dog can pull me with his older bronco? :thumbsup Hey ! now you have some room to build a Boat & camper shelter on yor resort,Call it "camp set a spell". :alright

I know Kurt it needs to hit the water. In two weeks hopefully weather holds. :prayer :prayer

Had a lot of work to do! Roof on the new one could use some seal on the seams, not leaking just insurance.
The shelter is on the wish list!! with two campers and toon its way on the burner though.
last year was the first year so just no able to enjoy toon and wheelers more than sweat and blisters :nono

Promise toon on water pics in two weeks!
