Fishing pole holders

#1 Post by IMHB » Fri Apr 01, 2011 8:06 pm

Here are my home made pole holders.
I made them so I can slip them on with no holes drilled in the railings. They are made of wood with 1/8" aluminum pieces that slide down behind the square railing.
The plastic pole holders are made out of white water pipe.

Great Idea. It looks like it would be easy to make and cheap. I'm thinking something like that to hold my dip net too.

Very Good! I have onboard rod storage but this will work well for the downrigger.

Thanks

Wow, they look like just what I needed for catfishing. My cover fits really tight and removeable rod holders are just the ticket!

Very nice. Think I'll incorporate this into my toon too. I love the way this is on the outside of the rails, not taking up any space inside. Great work

heck you might need to patent that. excellent idea. like you there are a lot of folks, me included that don,t want to drill holes into their toons. plus the ease of removal. you got a winner.
