High pressure air line I suppose. It made that temporary fuel line "POP!". I guess I should be happy that it was just a pop from the line blowing.

Needless to say, today was not the best day.

My wife was in a wedding in the afternoon. My mom had to come pick her up and take her home so she could get to the wedding. I luckily got towed in and then had a nice crowd from the bass tournament when trying to load my boat with ropes and a couple guys helped me out. It started to downpour when I was loading too :(.

Hopefully I got all of the bad luck out.

Does it still count as launching the boat guys? Hopefully I don't win the "latest launch award"

It was cold after a while. Although this malfunction had me feeling quite toasty and sweatin a bit.

Not only that... my anchor got stuck and I had to cut it loose :censored

So i've found out it's the high pressure line from the compressor to the fuel rail. The hose says "fuel vapor" and "not for fuel injection systems"

I would says that's the problem for a high pressure air hose.

Sounds as if you have repairs well in hand. I have good vibes.
As far as it counting as a legal launch, you seem to have ventured into somewhat of a gray area. Not sure how the guys on the latest launch committee would rule. Recommend that you try to make it back to shore on your own power next time to avoid controversy. :biggrin2
I don't think you are in much danger tho, there is STILL ice on Rainy. PLUS I am well behind on my finish work, a result of my regular work getting directly in the way. My tentative launch is looking like just after Memorial Day, and that is dependent on no further complications (and there have been some).

Planning to test again on Thursday. My buddy is going to be out with his boat, so I'll have a tow vehicle if needed this time :biggrin2

Well,

I think I'm not in last place :nana . Got the replacement hose installed today. A huge difference between the bad hose and the new hose. Definitely the wrong hose on there originally. Boat ran great today!

I hadn't caught that Craig. Not convinced it is a successful launch yet if it isn't a complete boat. Wait a minute...ummm...my boat is NEVER complete
I guess I gotta give it to ya. So there is one more out of the running. Bleh. As far as me, well, not so much. :|

more pics today to further confirm she's launched. It had temp furniture today (camping chairs) :biggrin2
Took my niece out with us initially. Then my Mom, 2 nephews, Sister, and Brother-in-law came out and met us. Ended up having dinner at a restaurant on the lake

Haven't posted in a while, so thought I'd post some updates. The 4 time out, the motor started, then died about 3 or 4 times, and then was good for the day. 5th time, it kept doing it and we never made it out. I decided I didn't want the "uncertainty" when going out every time so I took it to a marine place. This was about 2 weeks ago. Just got it back today. Apparently I had a leaking schraeder valve? Guy went through the boat, initiated the break in mode that was never done after the rebuild and took it for a 30 minute water test. Said it was running fine now. What a relief!

We got the rest of our furniture in last week so I was itching to get the boat back so I could finish installing it. Today I was able to get the rest of the rear furniture in, but ran out of time before a friends house-warming bbq. Took the boat back to storage before going so not sure when I'll get to finish it up. Planning on going to the lake next weekend though, so hopefully before then.

I also found out that the radio that came with the console does work! I was only hooking up red and black for power. Turns out, there is also a yellow wire that needs to be hooked up as well to the power side. I at least knows that it turns on now, but haven't actually gotten to hook it up to see if it will play music through the speakers.

I'll get some more pictures up here hopefully when I finish the furniture install this week.
