got a big more done tonight. All of my battery setup is installed except for actually hooking both batteries up. I ended up going with battery trays instead of boxes due to the tight space. The marina only had one tray, so I need to wait for them to get the 2nd one in.

Also got the piston for the seastar system installed.

My goal is memorial day weekend on the water with friends, so I need to be on the water a week before that at least for testing. I just hope it all works! :thumbsup

Ooo. There may be hope for me yet!
You know that latest launch trophy is an awfully embarrassing item to have sitting on your mantle all year long :nutkick

While I do like trophies...I don't think that's one that I want. Hopefully I'm not last last.

Got a bit more done this weekend.

And there was light! Still a lot left to do, but it's still getting there.

Thanks, it's coming along.

Got my hydraulic steering hoses in yesterday along with $100 worth of Opti Oil (3 gal). My wife is picking me up some small items from the Marina today (2nd battery tray, 2" rigging grommet, in line oil filter and hose, and some hose clamps.
Also got my connectors this week so I can make my own harness plugs vs. crimping.

Left on my to do list:
- Mount bimini light to top and run wiring
- Install bimini
- Make connector plugs for all wiring
- Install 2nd battery tray and hook up house battery
- Install hydraulic hoses and bleed system
- Install control cables (still waiting for these to ship)
- Hook up battery, fuel, oil / filter, control cable, and harness to motor and finalize that
- Install EZ fenders
- Install console top
- Start it up and pray :prayer
- Drink a beer :drink :drink4

Also got my HIN #'s from the state in today, so I need the local LEO to come out and verify that I've engraved them on the boat and then go register the boat / trailer so I can officially use it :biggrin2
Then get hull numbers ordered :biggrin2

Still waiting on the 2nd 1/2 of furniture, which should be done on 5/19. I'll be rushing to get all of that in before our memorial day maiden voyage

You seem to have gotten your list out of order. Drink a beer is at the bottom. I'm sure it was just a typo. :biggrin2

Got a bit done tonight, but still need to wait on the throttle cables before I finish up the motor wiring.

- Got the inline oil filter hooked up
- Tabs on the prop nut bent to lock it
- Bimini brackets installed and bimini put on (have to pull it out of the shed before I can actually put it up due to height
- Hydraulic hoses ran, but need to adjust the elbows on the piston so I don't rub through a hose (didn't have pipe dope out there, so will tomorrow)
- Got grommet installed in seat base where the power cables go from the battery switch to the console
- 2nd battery tray put in and all batteries hooked up
- EZ Fenders installed :nana (actually snapped a screw head off, but got it removed)
- Started running wiring conduit to protect exposed wired underneath boat
- 2 bumpers put on the ez fenders? :donno
- Killed a big ass spider that could have probably helped me with the below deck stuff a month or two ago had I known he was around (no help then, so no use for me now) :scared

To do tomorrow.....and sunday probably
- Run bimini light wiring and install light... drink a beer
- Adjust seastar piston fittings and install piston side of lines.....drink a beer
- Finish running conduit on expose wires.....drink a beer and take a piss
- Screw in clamps for under boat wiring to keep it tidy against the bottom of the deck
- Remove fence and drill hole for bimini light wiring to run up through fence and into bimini frame (not gonna be fun)...drink 2 beers and pee (broken seal)
- Install primer bulb for fuel line....drink a beer and pee (seal issue)
- Install steering wheel.....pee / beer again
- Fill oil reservoir
- Prime fuel and oil lines
- Start motor?????? :prayer
- Celebratory beer

Tuned......this order of things seem better? :biggrin2

Absolutely. Except for the part where you are getting ahead of me. I gotsta get a move on. Stinkin' annual shutdown at my plant and I disappear for a couple of weeks starting tomorrow.

Couple of notes to possibly assist your gig: A little wipe of soap on those stainless screws will keep them from breaking so often. I've done it a lot as well and it sux 'cause you end up with a little stainless stub that you can't drill out and it's right where you need the fitting to sit.
If you haven't done Seastar before, read the bleed instructions and follow them exactly. It's not too hard once you get going. A good 'maintenance' tool for your steering is a meat/poultry injector. Works great for topping off your steering occasionally (yearly) and can even lower the level in your helm if needed. I tape one to a jug of fluid and carry it on board with my prop etc...
Should prolly get those seals looked at sometime though :lol3

Thanks for the info Tuned. I used coconut oil to help with the bolts for the furniture and such, but not on the screws for the EZ fenders. Must have just gotten a week screw. Thanks for tips on the seastar too.

got a bit done today. Bimini put on and wiring ran for the bimini light. All lights / horn work right now. Going to finish the connectors tomorrow and test the stereo out :nana
