Well since Ty updated his southbay build I'll update mine to, even though there isent any progress just new parts! I bought a galley from Ty a while ago and I'm still working on ordering the factory parts it needs to be complete. I also salvaged to roto molded seating from my voyager rebuild, I like it because of the bench having the angle on it giving me extra room between the couch and grill. It will save me a ton of money because the seats I was planning on are very expensive.

Thanks, ya Craig this is a keeper! Only way I'd sell it is if Ty had another twin chassis available!

RCG, I can buy all the upholstery materials from the same company I'll be getting my captains seats from so with that and a good upholstery shop it should match and look good.

Ryan, that is going to be a nice layout. Glad you some one is making at least some progress.

And plan on keeping it...because at this point I'm out of the salvage business. It's pretty much going away, getting harder and harder to buy decent stuff as the suits in these big companies would rather see stuff scrapped than re-sold. So if you acquired one of my finds some time along the way consider yourself lucky. It's really kind of sad...

Had a revolution the other day, the more time I spend sitting on the boat and dreaming I've realized that I don't really like the front baitwell corners I had bought. I started thinking about all the other parts I had and some of the work I was gonna have done then it hit me! I need to build sporty looking fiberglass nose cones for the bow like you see on some of the new boats. I'll be able to build small baitwells in each of them and also create a lot of extra storage under them.... Yall think it'll look cool and different? Here's some ideas.

I know this one isent fiberglass but it's the closest I can find to what I'm wanting

Wow you are havin allot of fun with that project !!!! And the cone nose is practical cuz it cuts the wind resistance down and that's good for fuel economy and speed,,,on and off the lake !!! :alright

Hey mind sharing what your solution was when you cleaned the toons? Is it considered harsh on the aluminum??

Ordered my captains seat the other day!

As soon as I get it in I'll be able to get the exact measurements I'll need to send the boat to the fiberglass shop. Im going to try and make time this week to make a trip to the local aluminum supply store to get the materials for my rails, so I can get it layed out and all cut to size..... Looking foward to the next month, should make some good progress
