Go Ryan go! Midnight work binges. Metal slivers in fingers. Picking drill shavings out of your tennis shoe soles. Been there :biggrin2

It looks quality. Would you agree (since you actually have one)?
Ya is nice, it's off a factory Lowe pontoon.

I stopped posting on this forum awhile back when photo bucket took a dump. Just to bring this build up to speed it's about 90% done and has had three different power plants so far. The latest is a 2019 Mercury verado 350 that pushes it 50mph so far. If anyone wants to give me a lesson on how to post pictures from Apple ( preferably an iPad) I'd sure love to become a involved member again and also bring my post up to date. I've built and sold around 100 or so pontoons in the last few years, so I'm still infatuated with pontoons.

Good to hear from you, I wondered what happened with your project! Sounds like you're not fooling around with that verado mounted on the boat.
I understand the photo issue I lost tons when photo bucket did their change. I post from my phone . It works most the time . I have sizing issues on this forum but not others. If you can figure it out I look forward to seeing your boat again!!!

Ok, now that I can post pictures let me see if I can update this build. Going off the last actual build pic, I think I was at the point I got the rails home, bought all the ss bolts and mounted them.

Then I built my sun deck and had it and my couch covered. The sun deck will eventually have storage on one side, house a couple batteries and have a head/changing room.

I bought several sheets of 1/8” aluminum plate to use on my rails for skin. After installing them and looking at it over a few months, I ended up pulling it off and going down to 1/16” plate.

Also decided to just build traditional rails in the front. More pics.

There was several months that passed from the last pic to these. I pulled all the rails off and taped the tube risers off so we could paint them. Had the rub rails powder coated. Then installed everything back on the deck.

Next we started mounting furniture and the console. We also ran the wiring harness and rigged the first engine. 1992 mercury 150XR6
