Watson propeller and aluminum in Groves can build you one. You can go to Lafayette and get the hull formed and he can build your bow and motor mount. PM me and I can give you contact info.

She gets new legs next week, and I will try to post some pics and performance info as soon as I get her wet.

What thickness of vinyl did you use and where did you get it?

I got some samples from pontoonstuff.com and the 80 mil seems like the way to go. you can see light through the thinner material.

Boating as "The Big Ugly" for right now, probably redo in 1-2 seasons.

Looking good, would love to see more pic's of the motor mounted, reason for not PM you I found a guy in Tyler Tx that will build me one. he is only 25 miles away. he builds custom aluminum boats and said it would not be a problem to build me a toon. I just need to provide him the spec's. so I may end up sending you a PM if I run into any questions, keep up the work can't wait to see this thing in the water.

80 mil from pontoon stuff.com So far I like it a lot. it went down really well. It was my first time and if you do yours your self I can give you a few tips that I learned along the way.

I can give a tip about the bow of your center toon. Don't make the bow flat bottom! mine is spraying water forward with a load and blows out the bow and back on the crew in a head wind. Didn't get any "atta boys" about that one item. I'm in the process of making a "V" angle up the center from front down to where the bottom starts to deflect the spray to the side. With a light load I can trim up and raise the bow enough to stop the spray now. but with a load it wont go high enough.

Send me a pm and and I be glad to show you the boat in person and help if I can.

Good! top speed is now 32 + That's with three people and a bimini top up. BY gps.

I still have prop work to do as it wont turn over 5000.

There are a few bugs but nothing I can't work out.

With a load she will cruise at 27 on plane. (5 adults gear and a couple of grandkids)

This is without strakes on the outer tubes which I may change later.

Dang that is looking good, wish you had got some pic's setting on the water, hate about the front throwing water back on you, but on a HOT summer day complaints will be way down.... :thumbsup
