voyager project

#1 Post by fokker » Mon Oct 20, 2014 5:00 pm

So pulled the toon home from the lake for the winter and decided to go ahead and replace carpet and furniture. Here's the situation.

1997 voyager 20ft fish & cruise
onboard 22 gallon gas tank

Upon removing the wrap around i noticed the onboard gas tank extends under the corner section. The plastic base is cut out and molded perfect for the tank. I wanted to replace the furniture with a new set from pontoon stuff but don't believe they carry any corner sections comparable. Relocating the tank is not possible.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Pictures would help.... Replace the fuel tank? Different furniture? Jig Saw?

Welcome Fokker! 8)

That set up may be hard to change. I am wondering if a different tank on the stern might work. or two smaller tanks

Hello

What type of corner do you have? Is it the larger 36" radius, I know we only show a 30" radius or our standard corner but we have a new larger 36" radius corner in the works that will be done next month. Can you post a picture of what you have and I can let you know if it will work or shoot me an email and I'll see if we can help.

Thank you for the opportunity!

If you find out, let me know. I got the same layout and have thought about how I would ever replace it down the road...
