Well, the time has finally come!

I bought my mid 80's 24 ft. Riviera Cruiser today and i'm looking forward to tearing it down.

I took some pics for you guys after I got it home and posted to my new blog.

I will keep you updated on my progress!

If you want to keep track of my restoration blog, which includes pictures, the address is below.

Sorry for the long delay.

My timeline initially was two years.

I have finally torn the boat down and all I have left is to take up the old wood.

I have had neck surgery this year and I have a second child due next month so life has been crazy.

I will be updating here and my blog again shortly with the latest work I have done and some concepts I have decided on for the next year.

My goal is to be on the water by the end of May 2016.

I have updated my blog if anyone wants to look.

I have another post to make, but that will have to wait.

I have created a new post showing some ideas I have to build this Fall/Winter and install next Spring.

It covers the bar, seating, sink, and bathroom ideas.

Take a look and leave feedback if you want.

Thanks.

We had enough room on the back on one of the pontoons, about 33 inches x33 inches, that we welded up an aluminum rails and angle to put the camping toilet on the back of the boat with a wood floor and small sink. We cut down the center of the back rail and welded the parts back together with the factory corner curves on the rails for the door opening. I will post pictures when it is all done.
