Recarpet Bunk Boards

#1 Post by Seon » Fri May 15, 2015 9:47 am

Since having my Toon berthed at the Marina, decided to replace bunk board carpets.

Note the existing tattered black carpet below the replacement covered boards.

side boards were both alright so didn't have to recover. Bunks are all nice and pretty now.

I boat in salt water some and carpeted bunkboards aren't good for the aluminum when soaked in salt water.

On my rebuild I went with "plastic" covers and I really like them, However if you want carpet they are easy to find.
