Here is what I did,
I let the tounge of the trailer all the way on the ground then built this

I then took a engine hoist and picked the tounge of the trailer up high enough so that when I let it down I could slide it out.

You then get this.

Once out I used a floor jack and picked each corner up a tiny amount and put 4x4 right under the pontoons in each corner. Then put a ton of cross braces.

Good luck

Pictures worth a thousand words...lol... thanks for the post...started pulling the rails tonight...looks like the carpet going to come up a lot easy than I thought...
Guess I should rename this post as my restoration...my plan is to paint the toons along with the skin on the rails...made the mistake of going to Bass Pro and saw a $86 k pontoon :scared ...but it was all painted and looked sharp....

All it takes is some ingenuity. And a big oak tree to tie the back end to helps when you want to slide it off a trailer onto the ground. Hydraulic jacks also help.

Well more progress today...rails removed...two layers of carpet up...the deck is sound but old glue and the left over carpet rubber backing is still down :( I'm thinking now I might go with vinyl on the deck instead of the 10X. Paint..also plan on painting the pontoons...

So the black is just primer right? It would be super cool if you painted the fence to be the same color as the boat in that pic!

Yes the black was the primer....the brown is as close to the tracker boat that I saw in bass pro...as far as the skin at the last minute I decided to use the brown then bring contrast with stripes and maybe some graphics...
We did a lot of prep work on the logs before primer...so far I'm very happy with the top coat...been a long time since I have sprayed two part top coats...but I still got it :nana
Waiting for the vinyl, but can do the under skining and will post more pictures as I go...
