So-
Looking to pick up a project boat and just trying to price out stuff before I pull the trigger.

Is the Marine Grade plywood from Home Depot or Lowes or 84 lumber good enough, or is there a better source?

Thanks,
Todd

Thanks. I have been looking at that site. At first I though the price for wood was a little high (based on the package flooring deal) but looking now and running the numbers, seems like a good deal. And you can't beat free delivery (well, free install, but then it wouldn't be any fun, would it). :lol3

Home Depot and Lowes don't sell marine grade plywood.

The really good stuff is twice as expensive as regular plywood, and it's worth every penny.

If you look close, most medium and large cities have plywood dealerships that sell to cabinet shops and furniture companies. They stock marine plywood often in off standard sizes even.

You have to have someplace with a dock for them to ship it though. Luckily my work is cool! (pic doesn't show the wood flooring) and you only need a dock for the flooring\carpet. If you get seats etc. they will ship to your house.
