Looking to start a project....

My question is... Does anyone have suggestions of which older pontoon manufacturers made the most durable pontoons? Especially for salt water. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Crest has been making toons the longest and is said to be the most well constructed. Competitors have said that Crest boats are "over-built". I compared mine to cut-aways of other top-line boats' construction at the boat shows this year and am convinced that my Crest is definitley constucted of thicker, heavier materials. But, it is also heavier.
Many brands will likely fit your needs as there are a number of well-made boats. Some on this forum can tell you which brands you might want to avoid.
