I did alittle work on the helm today.

I don't know much about rebuilds, but I just wanted to stop by and say good luck! Can't wait to see how it all turns out. Are you repowering the boat too?

Looking forward to more photos of the rebuild. I love watching the progress of these projects.

One suggestion to make it easier for those of us on laptops to follow....open a Photobucket account, upload your photos there and link to them through the site using the "IMG" tag. It will resize them for us so we can see them better.

Have you mounted the steering assembly yet? I'm using the same console in my re-build right now. I had to put spacers behind the bracket that holds the teleflex steering cable because the cup holders were in the way. Then the smidt steering wheel I bought wouldn't fit the 3/4" taper. Just curious if you'd tackled that yet.
