What is it called?

Ok as I find myself planning this rebuild I also find myself needing a few parts and I am clueless to what they would be called. One such thing it the piece that goes on the deck edge... The cap part... Mine is ok but bent up in one corner (corner broken and missing) That would be ok and I could probably deal with that but I am thinking of extending my deck out.

So if you see my thread I started for the rebuild. My boat is 24 ft. But my deck is 20. The playpen is 16. So the front deck extends out 4 ft but short of the end of the toons. My thought is to extend this when I am re-decking during the rebuild. Newer pontoons all take advantage of the whole pontoon so why can't I.

So I will have a couple feet on the edge I need to cover. So I either need to find a place to get this part (once I know what its called.) or just see if I can find someone local that I can buy aluminum U-channel from

My plan on the front there is to extend the deck and add to fishing seats up there with my trolling motor. And then build some storage/livewell areas behind them next to the fence.... If that makes sense.

So what is it called.... Or is it just U channel

I always called it rub rail myself but Bill calls it "ALUMINUM DECK EDGING" and he has some available.
