I love the look of that flooring. Kinda new to the rebuild stuff. Where did you find it before? Only thing I see from Pontoonstuff is straight grey

Cape Dave, are you specifically talking about on 'pontoonstuff'? We've been on the hunt for months, but are going a different, less conventional direction.

However, there are these suppliers that I believe have what you're looking for:

http://www.restorepontoon.com/pontoon/p ... ategory=88

http://www.pontoonrestoration.com/index ... duct_id=59

http://www.overtons.com/modperl/product ... &i=1063080

http://www.pontoonspecialists.com/floor ... loor-vinyl

and many others, including what you might find on ebay.

Let us know what you direction you end up going!!

That's what I am looking for, now to see if I can find a 20' length that is not #15,000+++++

I have a old Tohoe Alpine 20 that I am going to bring to Cocoa Fl to be used shrimping and fishing in the Indian river.

I just do not think the old blue carpet is gonna make it. Any one ever just used the vinyl from the big box store?

If you did how long did it last??

Regular MARIDECK this the same stuff on a Tracker I just worked on, just as tough as the teak stuff, just a lot cheaper in price, regular household style vinyl flooring won't hold up, the sun and salt water will kill it quickly, its not designed to stay in a wet environment the backing will come apart.

We're using standard flooring that's like a full plastic style. 100% waterproof (not just resistant) and is rough in texture (to hopefully help with wet floors).

I'll try and upload pics here n a moment....

One is of the weathered gray Teak style that we'll likely end up with. The other pic is of a couple of other options, laid on top of the gray.

All in all, our 30'x8.5' boat would be about $600 ($2.ish sq/ft) vs $3,500 ($10.ish sq/ft) (does not include plywood on with either price). That's no matter which way we priced it. That's likely how we'll end up.

What did you go with and how has it held up? Pictures if possible?

Aquatread has some awesome grey teak. Mine is the slant version with the black lines. They have tons of options if you hit up their site. This stuff is wicked! https://www.bltllc.com/aquatread-marine ... o-gallery/
and the imaged wood look flooring is here https://www.bltllc.com/aquatread-marine ... -flooring/

Here is my boat.... (i had to mod the photos to JPG's and shrink the file size down a ton, so it made the first 3 photos colors look odd and blotchy in some spots. You'll notice how different the 4th photo looks. But that is a better depiction of how smooth and even the colors look)
