I love the simplicity of your boat. I'm tempted to do that and decide how to furnish it later. Mama wants a floating living room, so I guess I will have to appease her. I only need a couple of swivel chairs and a live well.

we are going out today for a couple hours, have several plans for this winter and can not wait to do them

Are idea was simple at first and now except for her wanting a bean bag or andrionak chair, not sure yet on that, we dont want to add anything except for moar shade and wind protection while under way

I'd take a look at fredeboy's mosquito netting. It fit's over his bimini and gives him a place to get away from mosquitoes at night. If you make it right, you may be able to keep out some rain. You have a blank slate. Make it like you want at the pace you want.

knock on wood...we don't have a mosquito problem unless you get right up to the back way back in a cove with no wind (or so I have been told) never have been bit by mosquito or no-see-ums (until next weekend now) :happy

We can just set up a 7 x 10 tent in front (she isnt up to that yet)

I will check out his setup, thank you

Wow, it has been 2 months

Sadly my father passed on Halloween, this makes both of our dads didnt make it through 2018

Boat is still in the water, no free time :| I did receive the 5 new sets of wheel bearings, so plan to fix trailer week of Christmas break and retrieve the boat and bring her home for a few months, I am spending almost all non working time doing estate things, wow what a process

I picked up an older radar setup, 7 inch screen, cable and radar unit from a gentleman that was upgrading his setup ($200 shipped and it works) just old technology which will work fine for my lake duty

WHY Radar on a pontoon boat you ask :donno

after 2 close calls (1 very F^%$#&* close, missed by about 10 ft) where people do not run lights a night, I figured this will help and my distance of less than a mile will be perfect on this older radar unit

So I need to build a new console for all electronics now and I will move it into center of pontoon, so we can walk around all sides, move gas tank to front of new console and have a cushion on it

WOW what a wall of text.
