once :( after his fall a week ago (got light headed and woke up on the floor) he has been very sore and he isnt feeling good

We had a good time, and it is amazing we seem to have a lot more boats on the water this year and the damn fools need to take a boaters safety course :x

I had two a Vhull and a toon come up behind and towards port and just cut me off and had to get off the throttle, when I blew my air horn they swerved and looked scared and then they waved and said sorry...I happened to see the toon, and the driver was turned to port talking with the 10 or 12 people on it, with his back to us...

But it was fun...except I need to build a ladder...decided to jump in water...it took all I had to climb back in with no help, I am getting old :lol3

You got that right! There are some DUMB people being allowed to roam around. We were with some friends on their toon Sunday, on different water, the number of boaters paying no attention to anyone around them was staggering. A million boats out and 999,999 stupid people.

I hear you on the ladder! It ain't easy getting my fat butt out either! :lol3 :lol3

Sorry to hear your father is having a rough time. Been there - hated it like a MoFo. I hope it evens out some for him.

Up here in Buffalo NY, once the ice clears, there are kayakers everywhere, we have 110 decibel compact electric air horn mounted under the front deck, still don't get the move over after tooting at them. Having a 26 year old son with the same warped sense of humor as Dad and Amazon prime we now have a 50 watt rechargeable bull horn on board, maybe a little vocal warning may help.
As for ladders, ours is mounted at the side door and has a pivot end so it swings in front of the door or out of the way, locks in place. Works great.

Couple of things noted:
"...once the ice clears..." Better you than me with that. I'd end up being the star of "Titanic 2: When Dumbasses Boat Near Ice." :donno

Maybe with that bullhorn they will at least HEAR you call them stupid! :lol3

We have the side door ladder, too. Wouldn't be able to function without it!

With those 2 great big puppies you have, someone would be crazy to start sticking an arm in the window! But, Yes, if they got out they could terrorize a neighborhood....wait....can I borrow them?!

Sure,
But...He eats anything and everything...well to be honest he "tastes" everything, he didnt really eat the used charcoal or the blue plastic tarp...or the plastic container for dog food

She barks like a regular dog, he barked the other night and it was so deep and booming my hair stood up, I have heard him bark maybe 2 times :alright

It is watauga lake (see signature)

It is 1st lake in TVA system, great history reading if you have time

Average water depth is between 40/50 and then 140 and 230 feet. They relocated Butler TN and then a dam and they flooded the mountains.

we stayed at this end of lake since almost ALL access is to the east, north east and south east

about 22:00 I turned on chartplotter, night mode and turned it down to 10% light, and went all lights out (except for nav lights and engine monitor) and cruised about 11 mph back with everyone watching for lights, made it back about 23:20 not much different than trip up there (my wife and passengers wanted to us lights I said NO I can't see that way...skarrdy kats :eviltaunt )

And to all the %$#@&^% using head lights and spot lights :x :deadhorse

Looks like a great day/evening on the water. Thanks for sharing a slice of it!

I do understand about the lights. Just when my my night vision tunes back in, some guy invariably blinds me with his gazillion candle power lights.......
Then it's rinse, lather repeat.
