Yes, I'm replacing the carpet with vinyl. I figure, I'm this far into it, I may as well do the flooring too.

At least yours is the fish and cruise. Mine's just the cruise so there's no place convenient to fish. I'm not sure why there was even a live well, really.

When you are boating on a cold mountain lake it will keep your beer cold.

Well, work and a few bouts of bad weather are delaying things quite nicely. At the moment it's down to a skeleton; I hope to get the new decking sheets on next week. Not in any sort of panic mode yet since I have 4 months before the next trip. Once the flooring is down, the rest will go a lot faster (I hope).

You are correct! Window is closing fast. I do have a lot done though, and am on track to finish it by the time the weather says we're ready to go.

Wife is quite tired of all the old pontoon furniture hogging up space in the garage though!

I've so far gotten a lot done, it just doesn't look like it because the deck is still a skeleton. I am waiting for a decent break in the cold so I can put on the deck and the flooring. But so far as the rest of it, I've been able to:
  • Mount everything in the console (Stereo, steering box, switch panel, glove box, Perko switch, binnacle, ignition switch, Lowrance).
Connect all the electrical components (The connecting points, console switches, Perko switch, etc that I can run without it having to be installed on the deck. It's a lot).
Installed the speakers and the lighting.
Installed the fittings for the aerator
    Installed the rod holders.
Made the cut out for the fuel tank under the live well.
Wrapped all the seat bases in vinyl.
Installed the pass-through outlet for the single point charging system.
And probably some other stuff I'm forgetting. I'm also using the Lowrance as the virtual dashboard, and not using any analog gauges. I got the NMEA2K network cabling and terminations, including the one for the fuel tank, so I decided to forgo the analog, which clears up quite a lot of wiring.

Anyway, once the flooring has cured, this stuff will be pretty quick to install since it's all big pieces. So it looks like there's way too much to do, but it will go fast. After that, it's just wiring for things like the speaker and the starter, the tilt/trim/ignition harnesses, etc. and it will be ready. Assuming it all works, of course. No guarantees there!!

Haven't updated in a while... I planned to tent in the boat and use a propane heater to keep the temps up for the floor adhesive curing, but I decided to wait until the weather was warm enough. I kept thinking about the heater failing or something and ruining the flooring. So, I didn't get started until April. And there was quite a long stretch of wet weather so it's taken longer than I want. But, it is finally done.

I don't have any fully done pics yet but I have a few progress pics. I'll have some finished pics soon and I'll post them, for anyone who cares. Build went pretty much as planned, and I was fortunate that everything worked as it should.

Thanks, I really need to get more pictures. It's not super easy to see the layout with these.

Thanks Kytoon.

It's a resort where not everyone brings a boat, so there's always a few open slips.
